How to Set It Up
- Click on Popouts on your sidebar. The Popouts section will appear on the right.

Image 2: Create Popout button - You will be then brought to the 8 step track that will take you through how to setup your Popout and you will immediately start at Step 1.

Step 1: Basic Details
- The following prompt will appear. Key in the website URL where you want ConversionCow to appear (e.g. www.maxfitplumbing.com.au ). Press Enter of click on the 'Load' button.

Tip: If you are unsure of whether your website has www in front of its address. Go to your website, copy the address bar and paste it here instead of typing. - Next, you should get a preview of your site to the right of your prompt. The default viewpoint for your site will be on desktop.

Image 6: Preview of your website (mobile mode) - Next, a field will appear underneath your URL field on successful generation of the preview for you to name/title your Popout. This name will be useful to help you identify how it is performing further on as there are tracking statistics on each Popout created (More on that on a separate section).

Step 2: Popout Tab
- This is what you will see for Step 2

These are the following fields that you must fill
- Text on the Popout tab. Enter the key message you want people to know about your Popout.

Tip: You can click on 'Previous Suggestion' and 'Next Suggestion' to cycle through some common catchy Popout phrases - Choose an icon

- Here you will get 3 categories of icon style for your selection: Thin Line, Bold Line & Solid Fill

- select the pre-made icons as displayed or
- search for the appropriate icon with the search bar (e.g. 'clock')
- Here you will get 3 categories of icon style for your selection: Thin Line, Bold Line & Solid Fill

So if you:

- Type the message: "Get a Quick Quote"
- Choose the icon: "Clock"
- Choose position: "Above Text"
You should see the following tab appear on your website preview

This is really straightforward and simple. Just simply upload any of the following file types:

- SVG
- JPG
- PNG
- GIF
And follow the recommended guidelines, like the image size and max file size.
Tip: PNGs are especially good for an elaborate effect as they offer transparent background
So if you:
- Upload the following image (PNG)
Image 16: Upload image - The '-' and '+' allows you to scale the size of the popout tab image.
- '-' decreases the image size
- '+' increases it
- You should see the following tab appear on your website

Now that you have your Popout Tab, click Next to move to Step 3.
Tip : If your tab is not showing up, it may be because you have an image uploaded to the image tab but decided to switch over to the Text & Icon tab instead.
Step 3: Choose Template
- This is what you will see for Step 3

- The Left Panel would be populated in Steps 3 & 4
- The Right Panel will be populated in Steps 5 & 6
- The differences between each of these templates will be explained in the next step.
Step 4: Add Content
What you see in Step 4 will be dependent on the template you chose on Step 3. Click on the relevant article below for your template of choice to see what it does.

Step 5: Contact Method
- There are 6 templates for you to pick from for your contact method. This will determine what goes on the right side of your Sliding Panel.

Step 7: Style Popout
Your popout's appearance will be based on the style you choose on this page.
- Tab Corner Style. This styles the corners of your Popout tab (this option will only appear for Text & Icon style tab, not Image only).

- Click on 'NEXT' to continue to Step 8.
Tip: Uploading an image is optional. You can also choose your own colours by clicking on the '+'
Step 8: Preview
- You can see the result of your hard work from Steps 1 to 7 on the "Sample Preview" button. This will give you a full screen simulation of your completed Popout!

Figure 34: Close preview - If you are happy with what you see, click on the 'Finish' button. Otherwise, you can click on any of the step number to edit, located on the track above. Once you are done, click on Step 8 to click on that 'Finish' button to save your new configuration.
